Wanna - The Greatest Tour Guide in Cambodia

Kelly recommended this tour guide to me 3 weeks before we left for Cambodia.
After few correspondences with him via email, WANNA (aka Yun Wanna) officially became our tour guide for the temple visiting.

I wonder if it is due to the female-dominant culture or the mindset of a traditional Cambodian, he was surprised when he found out it was a She (instead of a Guy) who sent him the emails during our first meet up in Le Tigre De Papier.

He guided us for 4 days, including the trip to Angkor City (3-days), Beng Mealea temple and Tonle Sap Lake. Besides telling good legends, he is good in taking photographs, he knows which angle or poses are the best to potray the magnificent view of the tourist spots.

To be frank, I have never meet any impressive tour guide in my life. Wanna is the first who change my stereotype on a tour guide. I remember how he guided us along the journey, I respect his professionalism and passion into his guiding job, I remember how he cheered me up on the second day of the temple visiting, I remember how he called me 'philip, philip...' throughout the journey...WANNA, we appreaciate all your efforts.
As a tour guide, you have done a great job. You are the best companion of our trip!! Some says:"When the going gets tough, the tough gets going", YES!! The challenges and the hardships that we encountered and passed through along the journey will defnitely become one of the utmost traveling in our life!!

Darren:
Wanna, You're superb!!! I enjoy talking to you during the journey and to share the legends about the places. Thanks for everything!!!

Felice:
He is knowledgeable, rather than follow blindly on the information stated in the ordinary guide book, as a Cambodian, he has his own point of view towards his country, culture and the history background. Thanks for telling us the legends throughout the journey, thanks for being considerate and patience. You are so sentimental yet humourous!!!

Jiun:
Wanna is a tour guide that I’ll definitely introduce to my friends who is going to angkor wat in the future. He really did a good job as he tried to fulfill our requirement during the whole trip. Thanks Wanna!!!

Jun (mama):
He is the funniest guide I have ever met, he told us about how he proud of his country, how he proud of being a citizen of the third world country, how he loves his family and especially his wife.
I do not know how his wife looks like, but definitely a SPICY GURL!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Cassie (papa):
thanks for enduring these absent minded people
thanks for guiding us with patience
i admire your knowledge and experiences throughout the journey
also, thanks for letting us know that, without confronting the obstacles, we will not fully enjoy the accomplishment

Lulu:
Mr.wanna, we would like to thank for your patience and kindness along this tour, this journey has made us feel more contented, really. we sincerely wish you and your family, and this beautiful country, a wonderful future. OHH KOON!

Ariel:
Wanna, I also know you like picture picture picture!!! ^^ Nice to have you hosted our trip in Angkor Wat. Orkun~

June (Apsara No.1):
He sang for us, he danced for us, he told us the history of his country, and he told us about his family. I love the legend stories, I love the way he treated us like friends. I love the way he shared about his experienced, and I love the way he love his own country.
He makes our trip a wonderful and unforgettable one!!

Bawang:
Wanna is a friendly tour guide. Thanks for sharing the stories and experiences!!!

好美的柬埔寨,听说吴哥窟要被封锁了,所以一定要去看看。。。不知道再过几年,我们的后辈可以在看到这么美的历史文化遗产吗?

感叹中。。。

Mr. Phirence San,
